We all know that as economic times get tighter, crime will continue to rise. We know that drug use is on the rise, fuelling violent attacks and striking more often NOW in even the best of neighbourhoods. So we did some research on crime and home invasion in the U.S and here's what we found:

1. 1 out of every 5 homes will have a burglary over the next 6 years.
2. Every two minutes, somewhere in America, someone is sexually assaulted. Many of these attacks occur through home invasion.
3. Violent crime rose by double-digit percentages in cities across the country over the last two years.

I am concerned about criminals invading homes. You should be too because some unfortunately resort to murder when disturbed.

It is a fact that electronic alarm systems, CCTV camera systems all have a part to play in protecting people and property. But all these come at a cost, and often need expensive wiring and have hefty installation charges. Sometimes monthly charges forever!

Ask yourself If you were a home invasion victim and an intruder is in your house, is the response time for Police assistance going to be too long? Will you be forced to shoot them with your gun?
